5.0 out of 5 stars In my opinion the best CP recording - and one of the key live recordings from that era.

These is would be my 'desert island discs' - Charlie Parker does everything from almost James Last style 'easy listening'
- backed by his string section - to possibly his most far out recorded performance by way of romantic ballads, West Coast Cool and even some proto
- rock n roll with the great Mundell Lowe on electric guitar. The sound of his horn was never better captured. Sublime.

This is the best music on record by Charlie Parker. Right up there with Savoy sessions like Koko and Warming Up a Riff.
The playlist and song titles are screwed up as mentioned by previous reviewer. But it doesn't matter. Bird's playing is on fire, he is happy,
clean, making money and playing at his very best.
