Plot:
A spin-off of "Sanford and Son". It was explained that Fred and Lamont Sanford had moved to Arizona. They sold their old house in Los Angeles and the rooming house next-door to Fred's old Army buddy Phil Wheeler. Phil tried to turn the rooming house into a hotel. Phil was depicted as a widower with two children, Angie and Nat.

When Redd Foxx left the series 'Sanford and Son' to pursue his comedy show on another network, the series was retooled with most of the original cast and new characters who turn Sanford's salvage shop into a hotel. The show only aired 4 episodes before getting canceled. The new show was such a disaster, that the network pretended that the show never existed. Of the 10 episodes that were produces, only 6 episodes still survive. The other 4 remaining episodes are lost or destroyed.
