This one was actually better then the first movie, not that it takes a great effort. Skipped ahead for the boring parts, but the blood scenes are funny. The english subtitles are often not correct for what is spoken. The movie can be enjoyed with a good mix of substances of your choice. |
I'm hoping it lives up to the absurd potential of the concept. The first film did not. |
This was way better than expected. For those that didn't like the first one...don't worry. It wasn't cannon. To say more would spoil. I am now down with The Poohniverse! |
You can't convince me the dude in the second isn't Michael Cera. |
Comming soon to cover you screen in more gore: Winnie-The-Pooh III: Three Time The Carnage Of Pooh II |
The first one had good TNA which made it worth my while, thats totally gone missing in this installment. Thats about all I have to say in my review. |
I'm guessing that the special effects ate up the budget allowing enough for roughly $500 per actor. |
There’s one part it does a close up of Pooh and you can clearly see he’s wearing a mask. Pretty bad at covering that up |
Barbarism has its ostensible reasons (revenge being primary ) and there are many in Winnie the Pooh- Blood and Honey , Part 2. Regardless of a poorly developed backstory and script, Rhys Frake-Waterfield exhibits a keen ability to utilize camera angles and a dynamic visual style to deliver cheap thrills, yet in a creatively astonishing manner. The revenge story involves - are you ready? - Winnie-the-Pooh, Piglet, Owl, and of course Tigger. The production is better than most considering the genre. The standout in the film is the directing and to a degree the cinematography. The movie bounces around with too many characters and trying to prove itself as a “legit film” for theatrical release. Though it may not disappoint, fully embracing its enjoyment might necessitate a particular mindset, especially considering it's a horror movie centered around Pooh. Keep perspective and enjoy the carnage - especially that chain snaring scene. |
Supposed to be better than the first one 😁 Thanks TG will give a try a try for sure. |
