The last Alan Douglas Jimi's project was the official release BLUES
Alan made a woundefull job ( Alan! you see ?? not only mistakes on your tapes!! dontcha?)
During the process of editing, mastering, etc.. a C90 tape make the rounds
trough "collectors".....
On this tape, different versions, different editing of Jimi's songs
were recorded, along with some ( later) officially released tracks.
The fantastic rendition of that long jam named "Villanova Junction Blues"
( recorded the 21 january Record plant with Billy and Buddy)
had so many different versions, the longer last over 27'35" minutes,
( no editing, no studio fix..raw tape only)
this one( on this torrent..right here buddy!) this version it's 19 minutes.
(edited, effects on guitar, bit
On the dagger records release " Burning desire " they even made TWO SONGS with it!!
4. Record Plant 2X 11:03
5. Villanova Junction Blues 4:56
Alan had an idea to edit the jam and put it on BLUES,
but they never get along a good results...songs was too long anyway!
