Death at the dance class …

As August draws to a close, Essie has a lot to contend with. She has an irritating ailment, she has no idea where Julian is, and Captain Wood has been ignoring her all summer long. So, when the insurance company gets a tip-off about a possible murder, she’s almost glad of the distraction. She and Seb set out to investigate a dance class, where they hope to find the answers. Essie’s never been a brilliant dancer, but in the supernatural style known as Not Strictly Ballroom, she may have found her niche.

When the class’s best dancer – and the chief murder suspect – has an unfortunate accident, Essie has to take her place. Her new dance partner could be a killer, or at the very least an accessory, but one thing Essie is certain of is that he’s a monumental jerk.

When yet another murder occurs, Essie and Seb are no closer to the truth. With the help of their family and friends, they begin to suspect that there is a lot more to this dance class than meets the eye. Could the missing Trent brother, Grady, be hiding in plain sight?

Essie hopes that the upcoming competition will lead her to the answers, but what if she’s dancing with death?
