 | Thx.for this. As an American, I started watching foreign TV back in the early 70's. By early 2k, I really noticed how Hollywood was remaking a lot of foreign TV shows like Bron/Broen (The Bridge) Forbrydelsen (The Killing ) I really liked the US version of both shows,but when I looked them up, to find out info abt the next season, I realized the original versions were completed, so I decided to watch both original shows until The 2nd seasons of the US versions were released. To my surprise, The 2nd season of The Killing didn't complete the main story arc, while the original Forbrydelsen, completed that arc in one season! I stopped watching the US version after that, which I'm told, dragged out the season one story for 4 seasons. The US version of the Bridge however was very good, even though they dragged the story into the 2nd season before starting a new arc with the Mexican cartels, was sad to see it go. Now I watch mostly every decent foreign series release I can find. Unfortunately,Hollywood is now buying up a lot of foreign shows and are now imposing their standards with shorter runtimes, shorter seasons, with their unresolved endings, which I hate. Mexico is known for long episodes and even longer seasons. If this show was made exclusively by Mexican producers and not Netflix, this show would've had more episodes and longer runtimes. Hollywood has become a bad influence on foreign TV and cinema IMO, they already destroyed their own industry by continuously rebooting and remaking preexisting source material , ruining original stories like WOT,and Dune for the sake of either saving money or making more and now they have their sights on the foreign market. Mark my words, this isn't a good thing for TV or movie fans, but it still may be a positive thing in the long run, It will lead whole masses back to reading books. I'm retired now,, so I get in at least 2 books a week,when I'm not traveling. I see now that's probably going to increase. |

| And they keep coming - all these series I have never heard of but really grateful to see here. Good to see unusual stuff that no one else has too. You will be wearing the foreign language crown now as many come and go and appreciate the original language with Eng subs. Thank you |
