To be fair to the British iteration of cooking reality shows, the divisive competition inside American alternatives tend colour mainstream world understanding of what supposedly makes for good television. As such, a show that is on par with MasterChef: The Professionals and thoroughly entertaining is surprising. In a world of binary views, it is genuinely lacking the amount of airtime given to themes where competitors can and will actually excel whilst helping each other out.
