 | John Oliver the poor mans Ben Elton. He's like a reformed smoker who hates smokers when it comes to do with ANYTHING from his place of birth. I used to think he was funny but it gets tiresome from his BS theories about Diana's death for cheap laughs to ripping anything to do with the British such as the old pathe news presenter's and their clipped British accents. The US had the same ethics about speaking 'proper' back then John you hypocrite!!!!! |

You've accurately described both the British Empire & The United States, as well as other empires throughout history. Pretty much any nation that has had superpower status is guilty of those crimes. |
