Thats exactly what it looks like and probably what is was pitched to the lead actor as but hey as you said I'll give it a go |
Not sure its less budget. Since this is us he probably gets top dollar |
Paramount+ where you go to watch Network TV Quality shows but pay for it. |
Useless fact... Hartley (this guy) and Reacher (Alan Ritchson) worked together on Smallville as Green Arrow and Aquaman. |
honestly alan look too much buffed, almost to unhealty level...should go down a little |
Well I hope they don't go as stupid as the last season of Reacher - talk about shark jumping! |
His latest case - he goes missing so goes off in search of himself. |
Watched pilot episode. Was better than I expected. Thanks TGx always. |
why, oh why, does there need to be the obligatory gay element? it adds zero to the substance of the show and only turns off a large segment of viewers... |
Good upload but terrible writing really. We have a guy who gets arrested for breaking in, then tells the local police from a town he just got to (and got arrested in) to back off in a child abduction case, and the police goes "hold on.. let him cook". This is just a dude with no qualifications etc who also just got out of jail for breaking the law, who gets to solve an abduction. |
I wonder, is it screenshot 4, where the RV - Recreational Vehicle - is depicted ? |
Firstly, Thanks to the uploader for another top quality upload. I just watched the trailer and it looks both interesting and enjoyable with real-world action, etc. Will give it a spin and reserve my opinion until after watching it. |
This is nothing like jack reacher the only correlation is he roams the country.... That's like saying every detective show is a rip off of sherlock holmes... |
Well, Well, well, looks like @Guest-2539 made the ONLY intelligent comment in the thread so far. Since Justin Hartley I'll take it for a spin and kick the tires. Thanks goes to the uploader. |
Finally got around to watching this tonight and I was pleasantly surprised by it. I could tell from the plot that, regardless of what some people were saying, it wasn't going to get a cheap Jack Reacher clone, but rather something new. The acting and the plot were spot on, and yes it does have a normal lesbian couple as his team, so what, people like this do exist in the real world, what's to say that if this set up wouldn't exist in real life. It's not played for shock or "in your face" value, and they play their parts extremely well, so kudos for two good actresses. I'm really looking forward to seeing where this series is going to go, and what the secret of the backstory is going to be. |
the ultimate diversity character: black with both legs missing pandering has reached a new level |
Gave it a go, didn't like it. He can call off percentages for anything and it just comes off as very silly. Won't be following this series. YMMV so give it a try to see if you like it. |
I predicted the chances of me liking it would be 0-10% in actuality it was 90%. Looking forward to episode 2. |
Thanks for the only worthwhile feedback to this video. Based on your feedback, I'll give it a spin. Real world review and feedback are so much better than attempts at being clever, without actually having watched it first. |
I wasn't thrilled about the couple of two older women. It seems much of what is produced these days has a woke undertone to it, and I just hope they keep that in check. Otherwise, I thought it was a good show with Justin Hartley as the lead. |
