I remember when this was released, the critics panned the movie. But you certainly know how to scrub up a movie, it's stunning picture quality, have a beer 🍺 on me. Keep up the good work 👍 |
Thank you very much for make your magic on Pearl, I have seen several of your works and I liked them, thanks again for Armageddon! excellent work! |
Great work! This is one of my favorite Michael Bay movies. Thanks for another quality release. |
Thanks! I'm happy to share them. Thank you for commenting. :) |
The AI upscales have been great, unfortunately the HFR is giving the SOE and additionally because it's not native the frames are interpolated and causes artefacts. You don't see these artefacts with natively shot HFR like Gemini Man. Anyway, great efforts and it must be appreciated. I will download solely to seed back for the community. |
If you are ever in Toronto please let me know and well go out. You are my hero! |
This is fascinating. The FPS is an acquired taste, but as many times as I've seen this flick, it gives it an added dimension. Maybe try Transformers next? Just a suggestion. |
These are the movies of the next generation. A completely different dimension. A real refresher. chesley96, thank you so much for all the great products!! Keep up the good work. |
Thank you and fantastic work. Loving these 2160p 60fps releases. They are just fantastic especially on some of the older movies. It really brings them back to life. |
Chesley.....If you were here in Vancouver I would give you a big hug :) Thank you for all the uploading. |
My pleasure! Thank you as always for commenting. Hope you enjoy it. |
Shame its not the extra gore, unrated directors cut version from the Vista Series DVD, really hits the mark that edit, great job though, a great film, thx |
Thanks for the effort, but having downloaded this to try out these 60 fps AI encodes, they're not for me. Viewed properly on a 4K UHD OLED with motion turned off and in Film-Maker mode, so the video is played back 'natural' this is an artefacts shit show, especially in the fast scenes and scene transitions. I don't get how some think it's so good? Either they're watching a different encode or they're watching it on a poor quality TV/Monitor or have smooth true motion settings turned on in their TV settings or playback device. Sorry to say, but If the source file is at 24 frames, then leave it at 24 frames. Your Dolby Vision release of '2012' was good, as you did not mess around with the frame rate, and I feel like had you of done the same here with 'Pearl Harbour' we could've had another good release. |
Those of us who see it don't download and usually don't comment. I see the artifacts. They are hard to miss unless you blink a lot or you're eating or something and not looking at the screen. Squished faces, arms and whatever else the software warps are clearly visible for a brief moment. |
