 | Watched it. At the heart of the film is one message, family. Specifically, Brotherly love. The eldest living brother, Kevin, (protrayed by an extremely buff Efron) has a warm and emotional side - especially when it comes to his family. Though the brothers are in perpetual competition, their connections are portrayed with simple, easy happiness - enjoying a ride down a river on an inflatable device together or eating with the family, and singing music together while truck driving across grass fields. The movie transitions through decades showing the good times and the devastation that lies in wait. Holt McCallany, who portrays the patriarch is flawlessly cast as Fritz Von Erich. The director depicts the Von Erich men comfortable in their masculinity which helps present the men as more than one dimensional. Ultimately the film teaches important values about love, forgiveness, and the importance of a strong loving family. These are the reasons why audiences loved the Von Erichs. These athletes were superior wrestlers but even better humans. NOTE: The audio quality in the cam is poor. |

 | I actually went to school with the Von Erichs back in the 70's in Lake Dallas, Tx. They were like "small town" royalty. There was even a full-page picture in the back of my school annual of Fritz wearing his huge championship belt. I remember the rumors about Von Erick curse, the crazy thing is I never really knew them as the "Von Erich" brother because in school their last name Adkisson. I think it is sad that that superstition followed so many of them to an early grave. |

| Good movie IMO Speaking as someone who cam'd movies for over 20 years, the state of modern cams, given the options available these days, does make me sad though. |

| Two words were never stated in this movie "Texas Tornado." And who was the guy playing him eh?! Anyways I watched it. Sad story. Cam score: 7.4/10. Still has ads some can be skipped. Audio is pretty clear. Thx for the up! |
