The screenshots lk a more traditional animation and not the painstaking Plasticine models that Aardmann are famous for and which makes their animation style unique |
LOL, I love hearing Walder Frey voicing that older chicken. I can't help picturing his face every time I hear the voice. |
See from the trailer that the Scotch woman (our favorite voice) is in this Lk good Thnx |
Scotch is a drink, I think you mean Scots, up north they get very particular about this |
i have looked in dictionaries and they consistently have first adjective as 'scottish' (and first noun as 'scottish people') |
actually merriam webster has a linked page called 'What is the difference between Scots, Scotch, and Scottish?', decent, worth a look |
@ Guest-1536 - they didn't have a problem until the US media/dictionary told them it was. My great aunt from Queensferry would always describe herself as Scotch. |
Brilliant! It doesn't have the charm nor the Mel Gibson of the original Chicken Run, but it did make me laugh a few times and it has A LOT of zany action scenes. Super fun family film! Thanks Aardman! |
Aardmann are the Spielberg's of the animation world, painstaking attention to detail and flawless production values But still 13 years to make a movie |
Genre: Animation, Adventure, Comedy, Family = Absolutely perfect for children and the whole family, thank you! JaxeThawn. |
It has probably taken those Aardmann dudes 13 years like from the original making this That is how much effort will have been put in |
Those ' Aardmann dudes' will have slung this together in their lunch break |
Sam Fell says: "Each animator — the film used up to 30 at a time — can only shoot about four seconds per week. “If we get two minutes done in a week it’s a massive celebration,” said Fell. Animation technology has improved immensely since 2000, but Aardman likes to keep the handmade feel." |
Aardman is the cinematic equivalent mom's apple pie, baked with love and who doesn't prefer home-baked cake to store bought |
The movie was funny as usual. Great effort in making this one. Thanks to the uploader! |
the voice acting feels off, not just because they changed the original voice actor. it feels insincere and forced like reading a script. |
Can't see the voice-overs being done ad-lib, like they make it up as they go along Pretty sure the voice actors will be reading from a script |
Isn't it great to see someone 'thorny' from the sidelines trashing years of painstaking work in one flippant comment. The sheer dedication and artwork, sets, photography, voice work that's gone into this piece of animation is incredible, for that alone it's worth watching and checking out the making of... |
That's because there's only one white chicken in the poster and that one is pushed far into the back and besides chicken are female and I'm no fun at all to begin with. Thorny. |
British chickens done in a Wallace and Grommit style, what's not to love, right? All of it judging by the preview on IMDB. It'll prolly be woke. In my Cartman voice "Put a chick in it and make her gay!" Chick...get it? crickets and a flood of dv's Y'all are just unhumorous. |
It's not. I mean ... Frizzle just has a colorful bow ... and is friends with Molly ... and they hold hands a lot ... but they're not lesbians ... ah fuck ... you're right. They put a pair of chickens in it and made them gay. |
Dunno Pretty sure old Rooster was batting for the other side |
