In my old age I now hate waiting a week for the next episode so I now bingewatch a season of progs over a couple of nights if a good prog. So I shall save these to watch all together. Ta for these. |
I feel ya! When you get spoilt by series that release all episodes together it's really hard doing the old weekly dripfeed these days! |
Been counting down the days waiting for December 15. Only to finally see them spread out the release. I've DL'd these first 3, and am binging them now. But I will wait a month until I have the rest. I too am old so will probably rewatch from scratch. Not because I'd likely forget. But I know easter eggs are to be found |
I do the same thing! (67 here, lol) The only time I go weekly is for something really special, if I want to comment with the rest of the folks, or if it doesn't get a lot of seeders (like Murdoch). Otherwise, I try to wait for the packs. I do enjoy a good binge watch. :) |

@Chewingtoons +1 I'm a boomer, grew up on weekly episodic TV, then outta nowhere, came Netflix a group of Non Hollywood businessmen who's impact on the TV & film industry changed the way we watch both. Hollywood hated them and still do, for changing the business model. Amazon, another non industry business, also threw their hat into the ring, but the rest of the Film and TV industry got dragged into the stream svc arena kicking and screaming. Once the industry saw this wasn't going away, they also for a short while, released entire seasons to compete with Netflix, but as we know now, that didn't last long because of 2 reasons: 1. Being forced to continually produce original or purchase new content. 2 Subscribers canceling after a show or season is finished. Today they've all reverted back to weekly business model, releasing an initial 2 to 3 episodes of a series to get you hooked. The industry realizing folks like myself, have been spoiled by the Netflix business model have been spending millions to campaign in printed and online media to change our minds that "Republican credits are good" They do this through shill Film and TV critics online forums discussing this very topic. Try googling what viewers prefer, weekly or complete seasons. I did this abt 7 years ago, a found articles written by media critics and discussions on forums, which advocate the former against the latter, but the majority of the arguments coming from the "pro weekly side seem somewhat nonsensical and illogical . Even Netflix had started breaking up their series content into 2 parts ie; The Witcher, The Crown, etc. This is one of the reasons why I have no subscription svcs the other is because I really enjoy being a pirate. I posted a comment here a few years ago abt why It all started with the milking of "The Lord of the Rings" DVDs So now in the era of streaming svcs if i like a series I download and watch them when they're completed. Thanks goes out to WB, New Line cinema and Peter(The Great) Jackson for putting me on the path. |
I just got to the part with Sarah Connor I like what they did there |
Yes! Thank you! Thank you! Thnank you! Thank you for the upload! |
You been told to go into a biker bar and find the most badass person in there. 3 people that caught your eye, is it the guy biggest, loudest guy with a girl on each arm and holding a bottle in each hand or that guy who seem to be surrounded like a king on a throne, surrounded by his knights or is that guy who is sitting alone in the dark corner being all emotionless with the shadow covering half his face but as he takes a drink you get excited for the face reveal only to be let down that almost did. Yes that would be Jack Reacher. |
Yet another TV show ruined by adding so called lead characters that water down whom the show is supposed to be about,we saw it notably with The Witcher, and now Reacher,i don't know if they have new writers but the show is very cheesy with jokes that do not work. |
I don't know about this, a person who chooses to live a particular life, someone who is supposed to be 10 steps ahead of others, doesn't have any mystery invoking or raw characteristics that reflects his vagabond life. All I see is a big-boy with tapered legs, with average processing power, doesn't eat food well but keeps a fit body, behaves like a well-nestled human, and has a superficial social anxiety. |
Turning into a trash tv show. Seems like the other side of the make it____, and make it____coin. Hard choice for viewers. |
