Dov Hikind, who reviewed this book is moderate a Democrat!! Steve Emerson and Daniel Pipes are pre-eminent experts in middle east and Arab terrorism, while SLP has turned into a woke hate group that labels anything center/right as extremist. I wouldn't trust them on any contentious issue. |
I listened to Goliath: Life and Loathing in Greater Israel - Max Blumenthal - 2013 (History) [Audiobook] (miok) Halfway through, for light relief, I listened to a book on Hitler. Then completed the sorry tale of the ongoing conquest and genocide in Palestine. The project is quite shameful, not because of the brutal behavior of the dissembling leaders of Israel, but for the way Western politicians and media support displacement and murder of children (justified by Zionist rabbis). I'm not sure I'm ready to listen to a rabid anti-Muslim's account of the process. At the moment, bit-by-bit, I'm watching The.First.54.Years.An.Abbreviated.Manual.for.Military.Occupation.2021.720p.WEB-DL.AAC2.0.x264-ZTR.mkv Israelis who had to, let's say, "Do things they regretted" are interviewed. |
The author hasn't been wrong in his predictions yet. Nor in his historical reporting. People don't like him because he refuses to play exoticism and deny reality. Whether islam can reform itself or not isn't in anyone's hands but islams. Spencer simply points out that no matter what the minority believe, islam as peaceful, and the real prophet said this this and this pious thing, the majority have never once held to any of it. And happily, excitedly, and with only the vigor of pirates allows, deeply every Savage act as Allah's will. That cannot be erased from history no matter how hard oxford scholars try. |
The short Publisher's summary: Every new American president has a plan to bring about peace between the Israelis and the Palestinians, and every one fails. Every "peace process" has failed in its primary objective: to establish a stable and lasting accord between the two parties, such that they can live together side-by-side in friendship rather than enmity. But why? And what can be done instead? The short Publisher's summary: The Palestinian Delusion is unique in situating the Israeli/Palestinian conflict within the context of the global jihad that has found renewed impetus in the latter portion of the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st. Briskly recounting the tumultuous history of the "peace process", Robert Spencer demonstrates that the determination of diplomats, policymakers, and negotiators to ignore this aspect of the conflict has led the Israelis, the Palestinians, and the world down numerous blind alleys. This has often only exacerbated, rather than healed, this conflict. The Palestinian Delusion offers a general overview of the Zionist settlement of Palestine, the establishment of the State of Israel, and the Arab Muslim reaction to these events. It explores the dramatic and little-known history of the various peace efforts-showing how and why they invariably broke down or failed to be implemented fully. |
