 | I gave up after 45 minutes feeling embarrassed on behalf of the actors. The acting is very wooden and I've heard better dialogue in commercials. Would give 3/10 for the costumes. |

 | I have to agree, the producer of this movie didn't honor the real story of Boudica. Boudica and her celtic army didn't even speak Irish (even when English didn't exist that early), magically flying sword or magically bend straight sword, yeah right. To much Harry Potter isn't good for the brain. A big joke this movie. |

 | 'Boudica' is an anglicization of the name Buddug (pro. beetheeg) meaning 'victory', or 'Victoria' as a name. She was a real historical figure who led a a revolt against Roman occupation forces after Roman treason including the rape of her daughters by Roman soldiers, or so it was recorded in our history. At fist successful but later defeated in year 60 and 61. I've only watched the trailer but it gives me the impression that it wanders quite far from the historical records, which is a pity because the real story of Boudica's revolt could make a highly entertaining tale told in film, in my opinion. Think Brave Heart, but better. |

 | Started off a bit slow, but story was very much like most of these movies about Romans vs Celts/English/Druids etc... remember 10-15yrs ago we had a small flood of low budget ones... Olga was even in one, Centurion (2010). But about 1/3 into the movie it just went off the rails and was really hard to get through. Missed the ending completely because was on my phone trying to stay awake. |

| "Centurion" was a good movie! I was about to mention that but you beat me to it! "The Eagle" (2011) wasn't too bad either. And if you really like the Roman Empire period stuff then you might also thoroughly enjoy the German series "Barbaren (Barbarian)" (2020) IMDB score 7.2/10 (29k votes)  |
