The trailer shows she gets whipped across the ass in a public square so it might be worth the watch. |
The trial was quite entertaining, but in my views, both were guilty; it's just that Depp has got the better connections and lawyer team. I have to say I'm relived Amber Heard continues to make movies, because after such verdict she must be in a dire financial situation. |
You can destroy a man's life with false accusations, we won't cancel you as long as you are pro-lgbt and pro-vax |
That in itself is a "false accusation". Sarcasm can bite both ways. And in this case I'm glad it does. No one does "not cancel" Amber Heard because she allegedly is pro-lgbt and pro-vax. You say sarcastically the opposite by which YOU cancel Heard, lgbtqia+ AND the sound attitude for public health. FAIL! |
Literally The Wonder with Florence Pugh, but with boy instead of a girl |
the only meaningful comment here...and yes you're right i watched both. |
i watched it and i didn't like it. not an interesting story and not very original although the movie was filmed rather authentic |
I don't normally give critics much credence, but they panned this. Maybe they're right. I tend to take more guidance from user reviews & imdb rating. But Amber Heard polarizes users, making their views extreme & unreliable. There are indeed 2 sides, & I don't believe either side. The only way to cut the knot is to watch for myself. Which would mean probably wasting my time on a less than splendid film. My strongest motivation is all these braindead kneejerk takes on one He Said She Said battle. My own take may be equally kneejerk. Depp is the better actor, no doubt. Heard, maybe not so much, but she's somehow managed to run up a fair number of credits in her career. But the thing that I bear in mind about actors & directors when they tell stories publicly is, it's show biz. They are at the end of the day, professional liars. How the public seems to think they've sussed out the truth between these two liars by watching a staged show that happened to be in a court of law, strikes me as just plain foolish. I haven't made up my mind whether or not to figure out which side is right about this film. But what you've done is the improbable: By directing jackass attacks against a film you didn't even watch, you're pushing me toward the bother of having a valid opinion. |
Seeing all the comments from the peanut gallery on the personal lives of celebrities based ONLY on media heresay only further confirms just how utterly stupid human beings can be & how low they've sunken |
thank you so much for this comment sub thread. Brando's court testimony was a similar performance example. by chance i stumbled across discussions of this under the title the Depp Deception and they're good, check them out |
that Depp Deception group has gone private now, Depp Delusion seems to be an alternative. when i web searched for Depp Deception, the only result was my comment here, indexed, and indexed fast |
you are so past democracy after 2020 that a court ruling is seen as staged show |
Thanx. To those agreeing, OK, nothing to add. To "[the court case is] public". Sure, proving what? That you know something? That I don't? If I added all your knowledge to mine, I'd still know zilch about it. Courts can't produce truth. They can only produce DUE PROCESS. Re: staged show... Need more space. |
A beautiful Italian production filmed in the Puglia region. A challenging role for Heard since she still seems to have a hard time being believable during emotional scenes, but nonetheless she pulled through. In this time of war, this film raise the question as to whether or not pure Evil can be cured. |
Im lost, this movie its about her private life or a fictional one? too many critics about it, none about the movie |
Exactly, but that's how many "reason" in this day and age: "for some reason I don't like your nose, so whatever you do must be crap." |
It's a 'found footage' movie so, yeah, it's about her private life |
He seems to have aspbergers along with rapid manifestation and telekenesis under duress. |
That's the problem of myopic adults only observing and noticing bad things happening because of their own prejudices, then blaming anyone & anything else outside themselves, and having it backfire on themselves when innocents reflects and defends itself.. Imagine the story if instead it was all around love & kindnness |
It remains something I have a hard time wrapping my head around: people not being able to see two different, unrelated things. Yes, there was this ugly mess between her and Depp, but this is a movie in which she acts. What has the movie got to do with the court case? Nothing. Are people not able to differentiate her private life and her work? Is a faux pas in private enough to dismiss everything a person has ever done? Then show me the person who has never done anything reprehensible and let him throw the first stone. Not a pebble will ever be cast. Yet I read every week that movies are being "passed hard" because one of the actors or the director has said something or done something you don't agree with. Fine, disagree with that actor or director, but does that make the movie a bad movie? Of course not. So why ignoring a movie and being so vocal about it because of an unrelated issue? You don't punish her, you don't support Depp. All you do is withhold yourself a possibly entertaining movie (don't know, have yet to see it). Your choice, but not a reasonable one. |
You could've just leaned back in your chair & face-palmed but oh no, you had to jump in with that didn't you? Have you not heard the saying "Better to remain silent & be thought a fool than to open one's mouth & remove all doubt!" LOL! |
No we just don't like her, based on our personal experience from what she's shown of herself and her actions, that tends to be how people do work out their own worlds. |
I can understand you don't want to support a person you don't like. Then don't buy a theatre ticket, the dvd or pay per view. But by downloading a torrent you don't support anyone, except the torrent site you visited. So no, it does not make any sense. But if you want to live in your made up world, by all means: do. |
