 | A-10 V-9 Overall film: 6.5/10 I love The Expendables franchise. I'm a little disappointed with #4 however. CGI Graphics were not very convincing, and not at all like the #1, #2, & #3, which also used far more genuine setting (real life) and much less CGI. They also cut a lot of costs by their choice of casting in #4. Gone are the days of Mel Gibson, Arnold, Chuck Norris, Jet Li, Wesley Snipes, Bruce Willis, Mickey Rourke, Rhonda Rousey and the plethora of other great actors who made the franchise what it is ... or was. All that aside, it was entertaining and I enjoyed it, Although I spent much of the film waiting and hoping for some of the great past Expendables members to rush in and help save the day.  |
