 | Thank you TGxMovies  Great A/V as ever, and a nice smooth download. I didn't have high hopes for this movie, and it didn't disappoint. It was a mediocre horror in every respect. Lots of gore we're all used to, a jump scare or two, mediocre acting, and a mediocre story. BUT, if you're anything like me, nine out of ten comedies leave me cold, romance and drama have to be exceptional to interest me, and a courtroom drama has to be "To Kill a Mockingbird" or "Philadelphia" good to keep me awake. So, at least Pet Sematary actually kept my eyes open... or that may have been the coffee; jury is out on that one. |

 | The best part of that movie was David Duchovny, and he was only in it for about ten minutes total. The production value is there, and the gore is outstanding, but that doesn't make up for the slow pacing, lack of care for the original, and below average acting. I was bored, really bored by the midway point. And it only got worse. This one is a turd wrapped in glittery paper, not recommended for fans of Stephen King's old work. I suggest you spend your time watching other recently released films or series, if you're really itching, just rewatch the original PS.  TY FOR THE UP!!  |

| Duchovny was added post production. I was in a screener group for this movie and it bombed hard. One of the questions they asked was “would an acotor like David Duchovny, some else i cant remeber, and someone else i cant remeber”. Make this movie better. I guess most of us picked Duchovny |

| What where they thinking with this? its so dull and boring, and since it focuses on Jud, there are no stakes, also makes me wonder, after the events of bloodlines, why he even showed the family in Pet Sematary 2019 where to bury there kids/pet |

 | The first Pet Sematary was the best in my opinion. I liked the fact that Fred Gwynne was in it (may he rest in peace). For those that don't know he was Herman Munster in the Munsters. Also in the Tv series Car 54 were are you. I'm not old enough to have seen the originals of these shows, but I loved the re-runs. After all, I was born in 1968. I still feel old as hell though.  |

How does someone mess a movie up when A) David Duchovny is a part of your cast, and B) starting with super awesome source material that has a mystical graveyard with the power to make the dead rise again?  | The movie is disjointed at crucial places that make viewers feel deprived. Nothing much is discussed about the main antagonist Timmy or his backstory or events leading up to the present. Usually the plot follows a sequence with events leading up to the climax. However here the climax begins before the plot unravels and has been laid out before the characters and vis-a-vis, the audience. The handful of actors and lack of additional characters also contribute toward lack of depth in storytelling. In short, a definitely tight budget film that could have been better. Way better. |
