Some info for people who are confused about TS, HDTS, and CAM. TS: Telesync is similar to CAM. The only difference is that TS is filmed in different conditions than CAM. Telesync makes use of an external source of audio such as an audio jack. Even after making use of an external audio source, it cannot ensure audio is of good quality. TS is filmed from the projection booth or in an empty cinema with the help of a professional camera, and due to this reason, it possesses a better picture quality than CAM. HDTS: To understand HDTS meaning you must know about TS (Telesync) format which is described in the TS option. To make it easier will explain what does HD ts mean. The Simple answer is HD means High definition and TS means Telesync. So HDTS is an upgraded version of TS. HDTS quality is always better than normal TS quality, usually due to superior conditions and equipment. CAM: If you are watching a movie and suddenly the audience appears in between them, that is CAM quality film. CAM is a theater rip that is usually done with the help of a digital video camera. A few times they make use of a tripod, but most of the time they do it manually due to which the camera is shaking a lot. The film is taken from such an angle that some part of the screen is chopped off and even the audio is not clear as it is directly recorded with the microphone of the camera. Due to these reasons, the picture and sound quality are usually poor. |
@tosgravely Thanks buddy, I didn't know the difference of TS/HDTS/CAM I knew HD was high definition but I didn't know about TS and cam, for me all of them were cam besides HD. 30 years ago when I was a young man we only had VHS and cinema then it came DVD, time flies. Thawne |
Back in the days of Centropy and Maven (think Matrix 1 :)) it was basically what you said. Cam was a straight cam, TS was a cam with direct audio from a drive-in or the hearing impared jack (mono), HDTS was done in the projection booth or by the Russian mob with direct audio, and a TC (telecine) was direct transfer. |
We appreciate the detailed description, but to be honest, the qualities between the 3 are so close to each other, that it's more an attempt to make CAM quality stuff sound more enticing. CAMrip is a CAMrip, period. Blu-ray and 4k are the only true HD. |
so this is HDCam at best. def not telesync the recorder def needs cough drops never heard so much coughing over an audio track before |
It is an honor to see you, Jigsaw, again. Thank you. But I will wait for the HD release. |
9 separate comments on just this thread alone.. Does someone need a little attention today....: People do not watch saw movies for the acting chops they watch for the hatchet chops. |
I paid real money to see Spiral in the theater and it was a god awful experience. I dont think I'm gonna feel guilty about Saw X.... |
If that's the same recording i downloaded with the Brazilian Portuguese dub, it's the best cam i've seen in all these years, i never saw a better centralizing of the camera, truly the best. |
Audio 6/10, video 6/10. However this release is plauged by ads for a scamcasino-site. awful stuff for sure. nuke this release asap. |
on my way to walmart for more kraft dinner but wanted to leave a review before i go, cant wait to watch this in 1080 on shrooms. love TGX keep up the greatness NaaMean Love this place hope mr.noodles are on sale |
This one was good. Maybe not as good as first and second parts. But quite decent. Excellent performance of Kramer and Amanda characters. But, quite poorly made traps. I expected more complicated traps etc. overall, I give 7.5/10. P.S there is a hint about potential next part. |
Watched it. Saw X is the most personal of the series. Bell is front and center, and he is in full form. His physical aging only helps with the believably of his illness. It's hard not to sympathize for his character considering the torment ( along with 34 other dead souls who bought into the $250,000 scam) he was put through. Lund's performance matches Bell in intensity and she is the perfect villain. She's a cockroach, she will do what it takes to survive - even if it means using a human intestine as a lasso in order to phone for help. |
I prefer how Machete did the intestine bit. |
@Guest-7385 J. Kramer bought the scam for $250.000 Brain cancer - others Thyroid cancer $490.000/$523.000 - Lung cancer $263.000 - Lymphatic disease $453.000 and so on. Well she messed with the wrong guy! Wonderful movie 9/10 Thawne |
Thank you for an actual review of sorts, the other comments from the usual suspects as usual are irrelevant, as not seen it. |
@Yomanda 1st they weren't suspects they were victims of a fraud, the only guy who wasn't was her bf, 2nd she was selling 100% cure of a 4th stage of cancer (terminal) telling to them "victims" that she could cure them, 3rd she and her criminal team broke a few laws and she'll face life imprisonment for sure. Watched it. It tries to ad some story to simple plot and make it interesting, however it stays flat, even depicted brutality is so washed out, the bad actors can't bring it over the screen, their horror is fake one can see. I was bored. The production for sure was bored too, all these torment equipment is like some rip-off of previous episodes, nothing innovative. Tedious to watch |
