watched it. It is worth watching. The actors, especially son are great. The story could be tighter. Overall its about grief and not letting go. The grief in this movie is driven deeper by murder. The director takes his time and creates a grim atmosphere but one where you actually care about the son. The length could be shorter but it was enjoyable considering what other movies have been lately. The title of the movie is perfect because it applies to multiple people and situations in the movie |
I counted 7(!) movies named "Cerebrum" on IMDB. They gotta start coming up with original names. |
Worth a watch, was hyped up quite a lot on Facebook news feeds/ads which over hyping not good. I actually paid £9.99 through Prime 2 or 3 months ago after seeing the hype. Agree with Guest-1480 so dont need to ellaborate further, worth watching though. I leave the usual suspects to make comments based on screen shots, names, Genders and assumptions and not actually bothering to watch ðŸ‘😉 |
I don't know about others.. but if I see "Written by"... then "Directed by".. the same unknown name.... I know at BEST the film will be mediocre, more often than not just bad. If that's then followed by "Starring" and the same unknown name.. the film will be horrible. The (unknown) writer/director doesn't "star" in this film, So, I can guess it's a 4 star rating without knowing anything else about it. |
Totally wrong and weird opinion (but hey its your opinion), having seen the movie you are totally wrong though. Many good movies are made with unknowns, they were all unknown at one time, written by directed by same person? So what. 👠|
No one started famous. Everyone is a total nobody at first. Even James Cameron, Sophia Coppola, Christopher Nolan Greta Gerwig, Guillermo del Toro, Quentin Tarantino, the Coen brothers, etcetera, who by the way all wrote the stories for the movies they directed. |
