 | I think I was 8 when I read "They Came to Baghdad" and I was thrilled, but was unsuccessful trying to convince other relatives to also read it. It was my first book from Agatha Christie but Poirot is not in it, so I doubt it finds a place in this franchise. I read "Death on the Nile" and a dozen more from her until I lost all interest. Today most of those stories need a rather heavy adaptation to have any success. |
