| I think how adults live is strongly based upon your child upbringing. If, as a child, you didn't have free reign and support from your parents, but you never felt restricted, how you live as an adult, and in the future as a parent, will be similar. Unless there's trauma along the way to change how you live life. In general there is a flow of behaviours from child to adult. Sometimes you can change things, which may be painful to start with as your brain needs reprogramming, but once reprogrammed and benefits support the change and so reinforce the change, another change may be easier and easier.
Understanding how to take risks, leaps of faith, whatever ... try doing of them is a product of childhood and natural ability, both of which come at radically different levels.
Overall, this is a VERY interesting topic. And you can see how some societies control their people (political and/or religious).
No idea if this series relates! Ha! I just find this an interesting topic. I'm not professionally trained, but I see this and I think I've got a reasonable understanding. Would, could, and probably should do a formal course in this as I do find it VERY interesting!! |
