A turbulent ride from start to finish
Summer is a good time of year to pick a listen for pure entertainment value—so I went for something I’d normally be more inclined to binge-watch in a lineup of disaster movies (a favorite cinematic genre of mine and something of a guilty pleasure). Falling is an in-flight thriller—a fast-paced ball of suspense that’s a pure joy to try to catch. I love that T.J. Newman is a flight attendant turned debut author and that Steven Weber of TV’s Wings fame narrates. Weber’s performance has equal parts “voice in the sky” omniscient vibes and retro “I know this guy” feels.
