Thank you indexFroggy for a great share ❤️❤️❤️ The movie is a hard and very sad watch. It dispels the fiction created in social media circles that Moat was ever some kind of vigilante/anti-hero. Josef Davies and Sally Messham’s performances are excellent and heartbreaking at the same time. The violence that comes is shocking but isn’t voyeuristic, and is still hard to watch. Much of this three-parter focuses on Lee Ingleby as the detective who leads the investigation into Moat and his circle. Journalists and journalism do not come out of this very well, and nor should they. Neither do the hordes of misogynistic crazies (and I’d include the ex-footballer and drunk Paul Gascoigne there), that supported a violent, misanthropic sadist. Like I said, this is a hard watch but given its nature, it should be should. Hopefully is might also teach some people not to believe all they follow on social media, but it probably won’t. Thanks again indexFroggy your efforts are always very much appreciated 😘😘😘❤️❤️❤️ |
