Thank you, superb actor, if he is in it it should be good. Rediculous comment here putting him down are so funny. And assumptions again before th emovie has been seen |
Fantastic build to a dismal ending for me. Thanks for the upload though........... |
I enjoyed this one a lot. Like a survival movie set inside a high-rise apartment. |
That was a lot of SH@#t in the pool. The ending was like did I smoke a joint? What the hell did I miss? |
PLOT SPOILER The end is confusing and not clear During the main movie Nemo (Willem Dafoe) is singing about 'climbing a hillside to Heaven', and on the closing credits where someone 'throws themselves in river and takes a small rowboat to Heaven' (obviously a suicide) and then at the very end of the end credits Nemo comes back singing about 'climbing a hillside to Heaven' and repeating the three contrarians (truths) he found in an old book earlier in the movie Suppose it depends when you stop watching how it ends Still, a good movie |
We enjoyed this very much Couldn't quite figure out the ending so had to search for 'inside ending explained' Some of the (original?) artwork was really 'groovy' almost mesmerising, wouldn't mind some of that hanging on the wall PLOT SPOILER At first we thought he was going to bake to death, and then changed our minds to freeze to death but in the end neither event transpired All in all, a very well-made production, a bit arty, but not arty-farty Although, we must say that we did find some of the scenes involving a pigeon and tropical fish distressing Thnx |
I found this movie to be very very boring - hardly a survival movie - If you fancy watching Defoe in an apartment for 1 hour 45mins then this is your movie - if you fancy anything with a story and some action then skip this. Upload was great, movie not so |
@digweed lks like this movie went over your head maybe better if you stuck to Marvel productions |
Dafoe is a actor's actor. Followed his career since Streets of Fire. Not into" trapped " movies, or iterations of "The Most Dangerous Game" but I'll bite for 30mins, to see if He puts a spin on these done to death genres, only because it's him. |
But that could be like when they say a rubbish musician or whatever is a musician's musician or whatever like you have to be a musician or whatever to 'get' what a brilliant talent they are |
Meh ... he's nothing special. He's nobody's nobody. As a matter of fact, anyone from Hellywood is nobody's nobody. Just a bunch of rich snobs who get off on giving each other awards every year to celebrate how important they think they are to themselves. |
Well, he is somebody, whether you like it or not. Your envy doesn't change that. |
@Guest-5145: Nope! There isn't an ounce of envy in anything I said. If that's what you gleaned from my words, then that's projected from your own inner self. Leave me out of it! |
Dafoe, he's an ok actor. I realy like'd him as the goblin in spiderman excelent role for him. This one looks good thank you!! |
Dafoe best role is still in Platoon where he was nominated for a Best Supporting Actor Oscar. |
How long has he been trapped there jaxe? One movie I really liked was "To Live and Die in L.A." (1985) where he played a counterfeiter trying to avoid get caught by the cops. |
How many times do people have to tell you that ALL stories have been told a million times before? And they will be told a million after as well, because there always will be new generations new to the story. Get it? |
Yes, To Live And Die In L.A. is great. I can't believe the actress in it Darlanne Fluegel passed away in 2017 of Alzeheimer's. |
