Plot:
Young Alvise, the only heir of a wealthy industrialist thinks he is paralyzed. He receives treatment for his psychological problem. His father sends him for a few days in the care of Lea, his wife's sister. She is a beautiful psychiatrist and tries to heal her psychopathic, impotent nephew. He becomes infatuated with her and she also reciprocates gradually. She breaks off her relationship with Stefano to be with her nephew. Alvise promises to make love to Lea if she plays with him and beats him at any of the games. She is intelligent, youthful, full of style and charm, becomes a toy in the hands of the boy and indulges in the murky game. They play a number of games.

 | Non è una Commedia Sexy all'Italiana, anche se tutti lo pensano, non è uno dei Mignotta Movies della Gastoni, anche se tutti lo credono, "Grazie zia" è un prodotto pesantissimo di Samperi, incensato dalla stampa di sinistra e malvisto da tutti gli altri, il film al botteghino andò bene anzi benissimo, la Gastoni vinse la Targa d'Oro ai David, poi la Grolla d'Oro e a 29 si ritrovò ad essere una attrice di prima grandezza, meritatissimo dato che Elisabetta Gastone da Alassio, di mamma irlandese, aveva iniziato la carriera a 18 anni non in patria ma nella perfida Albione, se non erro il suo primo film italiano è del '61 con Lenzi... La sua controparte è il giramondo Ulv Quarzéll, nazionalità svedese, da parte di padre, diplomatico in varie nazioni, e di madre irlandese, che lavora nei cast cinematografici, a Roma si iscrive al CSC, senza terminarlo, dove trova il suo nome d'arte, Lou Castel. Inutile dire che Castel sarà sempre affine ai registi di una certa fazione, e lui stesso aderirà al Partito Marxista-Leninista venendo espulso dall'Italia nel '72 in circostanze oggi non chiare, riparando in Francia, che ha sempre accolto, e protetto, i fuorisciti della Sinistra extraparlamentare, non prima di essersi riprodotto con Marcella Michelangeli, attrice e cantante che aveva iniziato con la compagnia di Franca Rame e Dario Fo... chi si somiglia... Dovrei parlarvi di Grazie zia, in realtà è meglio se lo guardate perchè anche io che sono un anziano e ho visto e rivisto questo film in vari momenti della mia vita, faccio sempre fatica a capirne il pieno senso, non so dirvi se è un capolavoro o un polpettone, e non so cosa scrivere di un film fatto per stupire ma che secondo me era già vecchio nel 1980... lo sapete, non amo Samperi, e la sua costante denigrazione di una certa borghesia transnazionale, qui in Veneto, in Sicilia per Malizia, anche se ammetto che sa dirigere e scrivere, per esempio la parte del giornalista Stefano di Ferzetti è perfetta, ma poi mi annoia a morte con dei significati in voga nel '68, che se vogliamo è passato, un film da avere comunque, e spero che TOWK ci porti anche il suo spoof con la Fenech, Grazie... nonna !! |
