 | That episode didn't have any noticeable effect on the protagonist of the series (Joel & Ellie) it was just a virtue signaling piece of work from Neil & HBO at least in the game we see the interaction between them specially Ellie & Bill |

| So far, I think they are doing pretty good following the game's story. Even though the last episode wasn't part of the original game, it was from a DLC stand alone that didn't effect the outcome of the game at all, but filled in the blanks of how Ellie was bitten. Since they creators knew this would be more than 1 season, I am disappointed that some great content was cut out. For example, the attack on the dam and Ellie taking off when she found out Joel was going to leave her there. So far, I think it is a great series. Each episode made me want to watch the next. I had reservations about Bella and Pedro as Ellie and Joel, but so far, they have proved me wrong. I am looking forward to season 2. |
