Stop complaining, if you want to watch it, do it, you don't like it, then leave it... Me, I appreciate the movie, whatever you say Jesus real or not, it's just a movie. You're just watching for free, just appreciate the upload, you want a good movie? then create it your own and prove you have a better one. |
Preach. Some people just love to constantly complain. Too much sadness and hate are in people. |
Correct...Religion is there to keep us peasant pigs in line. All made up just like Covid, All coming out now. |
Lots of theologian and archeological experts up in here, but did any of these people spewing actually watch the movie? It is funny though, people are okay with movies about demons, ghosts, the devil even, but add the God part of that, and people lose their proverbial shit lol Regardless of the silly opinions about religion, the movie itself was a decent quality production, the story was scattered and lacked character development leaving the viewer confused about certain aspects of it, the acting was good the music was pretty good and the length was about where it should be. The quality of this torrent was perfect and the sound was good as well, definatly with a d/l and a watch! |
I am Christian, and I thought it was a very good movie, and it really had no embarrassing preachy Christian connotations, whatsoever. I can't stand those kinds of Christian movies. |
Just finished watching this film after downloading it on a whim. I recognised two actors involved in it; Joe Doyle from the Salem TV series and Damien TV series, and Peter Mensah who played the vampire Lemuel Bridger from the TV series Midnight, Texas. Overall I was quite impressed. Sure it isn't a big budget horror movie, but the effects were actually quite decent. The comedy moments made me think of The Exorcist, and in fact my partner regarded it as The Wishmaster meets The Exorcist meets Dan Brown. The plot is nothing new I will admit, but it was a good take on things. Ignore all the comments on here about the Turin Shroud, this is a film, not a work of historical fiction (heaven help us it it was - pun intended). If you're looking for something to pass away a couple of hours, then give it ago. |
Didn't this movie come out already? I'm pretty sure I learned about it here, months ago. |
i have no clue about religious views because its all made up. ill just treat it as it is, a fantasy story. dosnt look cheap, good length and pretty well done. thanks for the download |
you think something like religion that has been around for centuries and centuries is made up? The funny part is...I imagine you believe in climate change, the sensationalism of the media, health panic created for control, and election integrity as well. Its funny how minds can be twisted and skewed so easily. |
i love the fact that guests have a go, i can never when i forget to log in. and yes religon is made up. have you seen the money the catholic church has. and funnily enough if you cant see the worlds increasing troubles like quakes, volcanoes, wierd weather then your an idiot im afraid. i take it your a trump fan lol |
Just Need Operation Fortune Now.............................. Hahahaha. |
Dam looks like a religion thread/debate now that's a new idea! When you haven't got over something its called a mood ITS a movie with entertainment value or not |
on average a bad movie, yet, a few scenes and dialogues were surprisingly good. Very mixed movie tending towards the bad. |
I see Marvel and DC Comics fans wisely claiming that this film is not realistic because the shroud is not the true image of Christ, or that God does not exist, or other nonsense that does nothing but affirm the stupidity of those who say it. This is a effing movie, for fuck's sake! Enjoy it or not, I couldn't care less, but it's just a movie. |
It's a shame, because the reality is more interesting. The Shroud is a forgery; the fibers were carbon-dated to the 15th century, which lines up, because there's no evidence of the Shroud's existence prior. A relic of that kind would surely have been written about and proclaimed had it been real. More, the dimensions of the image on the Shroud suggest a 15th century Renaissance painter, not a miraculous photocopy-like image. So, for this film, that could offer a cool twist - the cloned person is actually from a 15th century rando, not Jesus. Or, if Jesus is needed, there could be some fictional new discovery, contrasted with the Shroud. It's easier to suspend disbelief if it's tied to something that is itself fictional rather than something already established as non-factual. Another cool twist possibility: Christians generally believe Jesus was both human and divine, but presumably only his humanity would be captured by DNA. So any clone would be like Jesus having a fully human twin brother. There's your twist - the parties think they're immanitizing the eschtaton, but what they end up with is just a dude. Good triumphs because evil was possessed with ignorant hubris, not having considered this basic problem, and only ahead to the degree that the good guys took them too seriously as a threat. |
I have a degree in archaeology & anthropology, and carbon dating is a theorized and antiquated form of dating. It is not a "set in stone" way to date rocks, bones, or artifacts (pun intended). Actually, there is NO possible way. It is all theorized. No one truly knows how old or young the earth really is. |
But even you will have to agree that the earth is way older than 6000 years. Heck, there still are buildings older than that. |
