Lamashtu has recorded an album that may not bring you to your knees and will not turn out to be the musical revelation of this year, let alone the decade, and it may seem bizarre at first approach, but don't be discouraged. This is a piece of great music that gains with each listen, when a person discovers some new element, be it in obsessed guitars or drums. And the drums, how she does it perfectly there! A lot of nuances and flavors that only drive the twisted atmosphere, but they have a lot of power.
I was a bit hesitant to give a rating, but let's face it. I was having too much fun to be otherwise. I strongly encourage you to reach for Lamashtu, because it is too good to go unnoticed in the deluge of end-year premieres.
