This was a story about 2 folks trying to have a good life in a very messed up situation. Any specific details as to why you didn't like it? Was it the strawberries? |
So you don't like when two people love each other and express their love? Interesting... |
Amazing in a zombie apocalypse world they never even had to fight a zombie. Just white guys and the audience. If anyone can explain how this episode added literally anything to this series, I'm all ears. |
You go Guest-2041. We have had enough of the 2% gay agenda pushing it all on the rest of the 98 percent normal people. We can have kids normally but for some reason they can't. Did God create Adam & Steve? |
only too till the 3rd ep to push their woke bs. awaaaaaaaaaa well plenty of other good shows out there to watch. |
so according to you gay is woke ok i get it now |
Was reading on another site that in upcoming episodes the focus will be on a lesbian and then trans gets a chance at bat. Full on woke and I am deleting it from my watch list. Had not gotten around to the 2 eps I have on my drive. DELETE! Too little time in life to waste on this woke BS. |
Thank you for the recommendation My Little dud, I'll have to take a look at this one |
Though I have not finished the game, the ending of episode 2 makes me want more. |
Take out all the battling over 'wokeness' in this episode and make this a heterosexual couple. Then you see that this was a pointless episode that had no bearing on the story, irrespective of the sexuality of the couple. Interaction with Joel is minimal and unimportant, making the story the same. If they'd made this a short side story that didn't dominate the episode I wouldn't have had an issue with it. But it felt like a filler episode. In addition, there's an aspect of this that is disturbing: how selfish these two are. In the middle of a apocalypse you never see them care about anything but themselves. They've cordoned off part of the town and booby trapped its perimeter, which could kill innocent passers by as well as marauders. They make no attempt to help all the people suffering around them, instead they sip fine wine and hog resources for themselves. I was gratified to see some people in the LGBT community call this episode out for the manipulative, empty pandering it was. Stop focussing on people's sexuality, race and gender and focus on their calibre as human beings. In an apocalypse, it's all that would really matter: are you a decent human being or a selfish savage? |
I haven't seen it yet, but given all the complaining I'll give it a go. I should also say though, as a queer woman, I do find tokenizing, without any thought or a decent story, pretty irritating. Even if only because it triggers just some bunch of mindless whining from... some. |
