The 2020-21 FA Cup was the 140th edition of the oldest football tournament in the world, the Football Association Challenge Cup. It was sponsored by Emirates and known as the Emirates FA Cup for sponsorship purposes. The winners qualified for the 2021-22 UEFA Europa League group stage. Premier League side Arsenal were the defending champions, but were eliminated in the fourth round by Southampton. Leicester City beat the defending runners-up Chelsea 1-0 in the final to win their first FA Cup, having been runners-up on four previous occasions.
The Emirates FA Cup Third Round kicks off at Old Trafford this evening, with two clubs whose results couldn't been more different. Manchester United are won six in a row under Erik Ten Hag, while Frank Lampard's under great pressure at Everton. Roy Keane and Ian Wright are with us tonight at the Theatre of Dreams at 7.30.
There will be no extra time or penalties today: if after 90 minutes plus stoppage time the tie will be drawn, the action will continue in Liverpool at Goodison Park in a replay.
If the match at Goodison will be tied, there will be added time and penalties, if necessary.
