| Hello LL: Yes, the first episode was a a bit of a slog, I agree . My advice: download episode 2 first, and watch it. The climactic ending in episode 3 will make more sense if you do. I'm in for the whole series now. |

 | I thought episode 1 and 2 were solid. Thanks, I think episode 1 had a nod to Once Upon A Time In The West. With the big set piece when they walk in town. Also it had a close up of H Ford as Leone would do with Bronson s face. The side story is good too, with the native American. I like the scene with the grand mother in the waiting room. Thanks |

 | This prequel is probably an improvement over the originating Yellowstone series... The latter has "glorified soap opera" vibes to it, while this prequel works better with the frontier feel. |
