This would include both the history and the ever-progressing scientific discussion, leading to a complete guide for novices and experienced professionals alike. While we are hoping, we may as well hope that the document updates itself every time a breakthrough has been made. However, such a text, although preferable, is a monumental and near-impossible task in a field that changes rapidly. Domains of physics and engineering constantly find new thresholds to surpass and their applications extend into almost every domain from fundamental physics, quantum technologies to popular innovations such as autonomous driving.
