This group is one of the first lost and subsequently discovered krautrock relics. Zippo Zetterlink was the leading band in the Hamburg underground scene of the late 60s/early 70s, led by Wolfgang Orschakowski. The only album released contains tracks from live recordings from the Blow Up club in Munich in 1969, at the Hamburg Melle Park festival in the summer of 1971, and some studio jams. The album opens with a long 21-minute track in the style of Ash Ra Tempel music, only more raw, chaotic, crazy. There are some shorter blues themes that are also interesting. All in all, the album represents a unique phenomenon of the psychedelic underground in Hamburg from an obscure band.
