Spam in the place where I live (Ham and Pork) , Think about nutrition, wonder what's inside it , Spam in my lunchbox at work (it's the best) Really makes a darned good sandwich anyway you slice it at all. The legend himself, Weird Al Yankovic |
Daniel Radcliffe to play the over-six-foot Weird Al... Hmmm, I guess Cruise and Dinklage weren't available. |
Read this out loud: I Yam Safa King We Todd Did! |
I would watch the shit out of this movie with Dinklage playing Weird Al. It would have made it even more surreal. |
Ladies and gentleman, this movie is astounding. It captures the childlike wonder and antics of Weird Al Yankovic in the most pleasing fashion. I was iffy about Daniel Radcliffe being the lead at first; but he absolutely owns it. Weird Al co-wrote and produced the film, he was also on set every day, and even recorded new versions of the songs for the movie. Want a goofy musical comedy with on-point comedy and heavy star power? Watch Weird, you won't regret it! A/10 V/10 M/8 |
I also love Werid Al....the original! Remember on Kazaa and Napster back in the day ALL parodies used to be labelled as Weird Al?!?! hahaha |
movie is a lie though. His parents supported him 100% n his dad was nothing like that. the entire film falls apart when that foundation collapses dude. |
Haha! This was crazy hilarious & exciting. Get it! BTW his previous flick UHF was good also. Slam dunk another one... |
Weird Al is THE BEST!!! Haha. My favourite song of his is Word Crimes (parody of Blurred Lines by Robin Thicke). So many incredible songs he's made and he can do so many styles! Who remembers White and Nerdy or Trapped in the Drive Thru |
film starts with a lie about his parents (both were actually very supporting) it only go's off the rails after that. |
Coolio was pissed off about Amish Paradise because it sold a lot more copies than the original Gangsta Paradise. He threatened to sue, but Al, chose to be the bigger man by apologizing and settling out of court. Later, Coolio admitted that this whole incident made him look like a poor sport and wasn't good for his image. He was later quoted as saying that it was the biggest mistake he had ever made. Don't know if the movie will cover this or not, Guess I'll have to download it to find out, Al was such a gifted artist, If you've never seen his The Saga Begins parody of American Pie, you should go to You Tube ASAP to stream it. You won't be disappointed. |
A8/V9 so you know in advance its a parody of, not anything close to reality its funny and a bit boring :) |
He also had several parodies he would do in concert that were never released on an album. He did a Hilarious parody of Live and Let Die called Chicken Pot Pie. Haven't been able to find a copy of that one released anywhere, and I've been looking since the early 90's. |
i was totally convinced that this was a true story about weird Al until the scene where multiple requests from various musicians wanted him to be the opening act for them, and the Pablo Escobar execution. It was groovy lol to listen to the music though...... |
I was never really a fan, but this might actually be interesting to watch, so thanks for the upload |
