Clerks III, il film diretto da Kevin Smith, è il terzo e ultimo capitolo della saga cult Clerks. Dopo 25 anni dall'uscita in sala del primo film, ritroveremo i protagonisti ormai uomini di mezza età. Il film racconta come non si è mai troppo vecchi per avere il coraggio di rimettersi in gioco, di cambiare la propria vita e costruirne un'altra più soddisfacente, verso quella 'ricerca della felicità' citata dalla costituzione americana. Il forte rapporto d'amicizia che lega i protagonisti, dovrà poi finalmente affrontare il futuro. Non mancherà il grande stato del New Jersey, culla della saga, in cui si ritornerà addirittura agli albori della civilizzazione di quelle lande a pochi chilometri dalla grande mela.
