I'm in the "had me with Capaldi" cohort so will def give this a watch. Writer Tom Moran is something of a newbie and this is his first lead outing but he's penned episodes for Wild Bill and The Feed; enjoyable and well written series both. As it's been commissioned by Amazon the production values and overall quality should be high. 3 good reasons to blow a bit of bandwidth. Thanks to the uploader. |
Review for episode 1. The series has promise though ep1 falls into the common trap of trying to intro too many characters and plot lines to flow freely or be readily coherent within the run time. Capaldi's character does not get going until the last few minutes but does provide a tidy cliff hanger. Looks promising tho. |
I have binged the entire series and was generally impressed with it, especially the cliff hanger endings of each episodes... I must admit to being quite disappointed with the ending as so many questions remained unanswered despite Peter Capaldi's explanation..."Isaac is an anomaly" just didn't cut it for me??!! Appreciate the upload and distraction!! |
Really enjoyed this and agree that it does have a "Mr. Frost" vibe about it. |
Peter Capaldi and supernatural horror? How did I not know about this sooner |
Thanks, looks like you missed a good one ?, " The Bastard Son and The Devil Himself " |
This feels like a new take on the Goldblum classic (imo) Mr. Frost , not beat for beat but essentially the same idea "I am the devil , believe". That way off or about right? Anyone even ever seen Mr. Frost... |
i got that same vibe as well, even if Mr Frost is by now a bit obscure and less known film.... |
Mr. Frost is Arnold Schwarzenegger. Anything else is disrespectful. I have a classic, you are a dork. |
