This work addresses a selection of the most variable types of radiation, and other phenomena in Physics, which are around us and are presented to people by various means, arousing curiosity to know a little about the subject. Radiation is a term used for everything that is emitted by a source. In the atom, radiations are produced by adjustment processes that occur in the nucleus or in the electronic layers, or by the interaction of other radiations with the nucleus or with the atom. They can be wavelike or corpuscular in nature, the latter being produced only in the atomic nucleus. Radiations can also be produced artificially, in machines, such as an X-ray tube, or in particle accelerators, for example. Radiation is directly related to energy, with the most energetic being the most penetrating. There are different types of radiation and depending on each one, they have different properties and effects. Before starting, it is important to know that radiations are classified into two types: ionizing radiation, which are those whose characteristic is to ionize the medium in which it crosses, ripping or yielding electrons to this medium and non-ionizing radiation, which are those that it even has enough energy to move atoms in a molecule or make them vibrate, but not enough to remove electrons from atoms
