 | A gorefest of delightful proportions, that was THE best Hellraiser I’ve seen since the original. Fairly good story, Cenobites galore, and glorious torture. Absolutely top notch stop motion mixed with intricate CG makes all the violence that much more intense, the eye candy is undeniable! If you enjoy the Hellraiser series or horror in general... this is a must see. Time to solve the puzzle box and meet the Cenobites once again.  A/10 V/10 M/7.5 TY for the UP!!  |

| I am sick and tired of the Misery gut people. Those who deliberately comment to have others fire back at them i say go away. many of these School Yard commenters dont even watch movies they comment on. It would be really nice to go back just on a year ago when i can remember comments were helpful not spiteful and written solely to upset the genuine ones who sometimes comment. The movie, if you've read Barker's novels and other stories, is actually far closer to his original vision than the earlier films. Case in point, in Clive Barker's novella, The "Hellbound Heart" (1986), the Cenobytes -- of which The Priest, Hell Priest, aka Pinhead was a leader -- were described as "sexless things", and Pinhead in particular as having a "girl's voice". However you like to cut it (with a rusty nail on a chain maybe?), this is a great adaptation. tosgravely is spot-on; this is expensive, well-scripted, well-directed, and well-acted. | It was really, really good for Hellraiser. Best one since the first hands down. The effects are phenomenal and the story doesn't meander like some of the others in the series. I'm looking forward to rewatching it soon. |
