After undersea explosions near a Caribbean island, prehistoric creatures are unleashed on the unsuspecting population. Freed from his watery tomb, as well, is a very friendly Neanderthal man who proceeds to befriend a local orphan boy. The boy, Neanderthal and irritated dinosaur make for an interesting dramatic climax.

Nonostante il film non abbia grosse ambizioni e pretese dietro la pellicola c'è la Universal Pictures e il regista Irvin Yeaworth è lo stesso che solo un paio d'anni prima metteva in scena l'ormai celebre "Blob - Fluido mortale".
Film halfway between science fiction and adventure attributable to the category of series B in this case coming from Hollywood in 1960.
Although the film does not have big ambitions and claims behind the film there is Universal Pictures and the director Irvin Yeaworth is the same one who only a couple of years before staged the now famous "Blob - Mortal Fluid".
