| Saw it and regretted seeing it. There was no excuse whatsoever to use the name of Edgar Allen Poe. Had the main character been named Roger Rabbit, the movie would not have been any different. It's a red light right there, that the makers seek some elevation by referring to Poe, failing miserably, though. This only adds to the misconception and underestimation of Poe who was much more than a writer of spine-chilling stories. |

| The movie was good. Far better than most of the boring drivel being made lately. It was Dark, Creepy, Mysterious and Interesting. I especially liked the spooky old colonial "town" (movie set?) out in the remote woods.
If the EAP character names being used are going to ruin an entire movie for you then simply don't watch it. Audio and Video were perfect. |

Poe) to sell, well, anything, I will give this a go, because I also hate to be of them who talk down on movies before having seen a single frame.
