Thank you GalaxyRG A Little Slow But Definitely Watchable Considering What's Been on Offer Lately It's Just Lacking that Something Special to Elevate This from What it Is But If Your a Fan of Gothic Folk Tales This Should Keep You Reasonably Happy So Worth the Time It Takes to Watch It |
Thank you Reaper. Because of your review I will get this. |
Thank you too Reaper It's always great to find you have watched something and given us your honest opinion. I'm going to watch this as well, as I like these ones usually. Good seeing you here sharing your posts |
I for one was reasonably happy with this so thanks Reaper |
Decent enough review doesn't say it's good doesn't say it's bad but watchable that sums this up |
Good onya Reap, Keep up the good work, Its nice to read honest reviews from someone who has actually watched a movie first. I get sick of having to sift through all the mindless dribble from others who probably think people want to read and get drawn in to respond with little or no relation to the actual movie. |
I totally agree with the above guest 1197 , good onya, If you also gave your opinion on the quality of the download reaper would be perfect and your review would be the only one that I would read but still two thumbs up from me, my opinion only, Keep up the good work |
Reaper has Guest-2164 Torrent rating (4) (Good) that's the quality |
Why is everyone simpin on this dudes comment, a normal comment like many post here. |
Such rubbish movies deserve to be criticized, it would be better to make a few good movies than the plethora of garbage paraded as entertainment |
Question remains then, who decides what is good and for whom? Some like vanilla, others prefer butterscotch — who gets to decide what is on offer? |
From the comments I have read it appears many replies directly correlate to how much the poster of a comment is either liked or disliked instead of relating to the torrent and/or review...This is a perfect example of how identity politics have permeated every aspect of life...This is a torrent 'peer' sharing site and yet so many comment contributors have forgotten the definition of 'peer' and/or 'sharing'??!! |
Saw it and regretted seeing it. There was no excuse whatsoever to use the name of Edgar Allen Poe. Had the main character been named Roger Rabbit, the movie would not have been any different. It's a red light right there, that the makers seek some elevation by referring to Poe, failing miserably, though. This only adds to the misconception and underestimation of Poe who was much more than a writer of spine-chilling stories. |
The very last scene would look silly with Roger Rabbit, but you're right: the movie didn't need to use Poe. |
The movie was good. Far better than most of the boring drivel being made lately. It was Dark, Creepy, Mysterious and Interesting. I especially liked the spooky old colonial "town" (movie set?) out in the remote woods. If the EAP character names being used are going to ruin an entire movie for you then simply don't watch it. Audio and Video were perfect. |
As much as I hate the gratuitous use of historic figures (in this case E.A. Poe) to sell, well, anything, I will give this a go, because I also hate to be of them who talk down on movies before having seen a single frame. I don;t know when I will be able to watch, but when any time soon, I'll let you know what I thought of it. |
Have you watched this ? i doubt it first watch it then comment |
Edgar Allen Poe's descendants will sue the makers of this for using his name without paying for movie rights and loyalties. |
