Chirality — the asymmetric quality found in certain chemical compounds — plays an essential role in our world: chiral compounds can be found in biology, pharmaceutical compounds, agrochemicals, and fragrances. The stereoselective preparation of these complex molecular constructions constitutes a challenge.
