A diplomatic way to handle a film you dislike.. I commend you.. :) |
Jaxe i would give you 5 points, but can't =( Anyhoo, thanks for the info as always! |
Well, A/V is excellent, as you'd expect, download was quick and easy, so an excellent torrent all-round; thank you GalaxyRG much appreciated The movie was "different". We've seen elements of this sort of "petty criminal stumbles upon horror" before, but I found this to be quite fresh. The cast all turned in professional-grade performances, and the story was a thriller for me. No great surprises, but it was all done well, and I locked ALL the doors before I went to bed after watching it. Good stuff, thanks again GalaxyRG |
This is why I support Rotten Tomatoes over IMDB reviw scoring.. Only my opinion... How is Rotten Tomatoes rated? Rotten Tomatoes is careful in its Critic curation. It won’t include just any critic’s review. It aggregates those who have been regularly putting out movie reviews over the last two years, and those who are considered active by Rotten Tomatoes standards. This just means they’ve published a review within the last year. While there are about 3,000 accepted reviewers (see the Tomatometer-approved critics criteria), usually only several hundred are actively reviewing for any given film. Many times, it’s much less. And Top Critics are counted with a separate score. So while the the Rotten Tomatoes rating system is really just general consensus, you can see some of the more renowned critics in a different space. But it’s not just about the critics! You also get a fully rounded out review because you can also see how the audience feels. |
I watch everything on My TV. Through my own Plex server. |
Pro tip: There should be an EVO release along soon Those always play on TVs |
Same here, i watched this and everything else through my Nvidia Shield TV Pro, PLEX Server and Samsung Q80T TV and all my other devices, I dont get the use or emphasis of the word "PROPER" release. |
Dasterdly: The way I understood it, was that PROPER was a fix by a scene group for a problem in another group's release (like audio syncing or something), similar to FIXED (released by the original group); please, anybody correct me if I'm wrong. Not sure how "PROPER" relates here, because everything looks OK to me |
I built a 24TB Plex Server Running on Linux with Intel 12 core CPU with Quick Sync for trans-coding system also has 64 gig of ram. OS runs on a 1TB M.2 SSD. Both my TV,s also run Nvidia Shield with Plex Client. |
I think what Guest-9921 is trying to say is that *some* TVs lack the necessary codecs to play some rips If I recall correctly Samsung has been identified as an affected brand. I think TVs maybe at least 5/6+ years old The problem with TVs is that although TVs seem to last forever, manufacturers don't bother to offer firmware updates after 2 years so their 'codec pack' can easily go out-of-date And no TV in currently in existence can handle x265 |
Bro , seems the problem is not the rips but that TVs are lasting too long Samsung needs to get their act together , make their TVs last only 6 months Then you will buy a brand-new TV with a recent codec pack Problem solved Glad to be of help |
Pro tip: The recently added Italian XViD rip will play on TVs Just download subtitles if you don't speak Italian |
The EVO rip is out Hurrah! Now I can finally watch this movie on my ageing Samsung toaster |
Writing "I came by" on a wall in a private apartment has nothing to do with "art". It's nothing more than a dog peeing on bushes to mark its territory. Sad, actually. |
It's actually vandalism and breaking and entering if you were not given permission by the resident or owner of the private apartment to do so. |
In the movie they correct someone who says "graffiti artist" by calling themselves "graffiti writers". Indeed much more appropriate. |
