Causa Sui Albums (2005 - 2014)    


Biography:
In the late summer of 2004, CAUSA SUI were formed with four players, each of whom had gained his enough experience in his own hardcore metal band. With cringing at Danish pop music scene in those days, they all groped for playing progressive and experimental music, and conclusively found they should play heavy psychedelic and stoner rock they had never lost the desire to make their style with. CAUSA SUI, getting started as a four-piece band, produced their eponymous debut album through the summer of 2005 with 100 demo tracks and Nasomi Records gave the green light for releasing it in December of the same year. Their musical style is influenced by not only psychedelic rock or Krautrock, but also 60s rock, blues, or 70s heavy metal, etc. etc. After releasing their second album 'Free Ride' for various reasons CAUSA SUI got to be a trio consisting of Jakob Skøtt (drums and percussion), Jess Kahr (bass) and Jonas Munk (guitars, keyboards, electronics and vocals) - in spite of the musicians decreased, CAUSA SUI now can keep their motivation and activity with giving some gigs and releasing some session albums.
