Even at a high elevation in remote Canada, a helicopter can't even fly at 20,000 feet. Above 10,000 everyone needs oxygen to breathe, and at 20,000 the rotors can't even catch enough air to fly. Most air ambulance helicopters fly around 2000 ft over ground level. |
