My mom read the Richard Adams book to me when I was a kid (I have it now, the same copy, on the bookshelf in front of me), and I saw this adaptation when I was in elementary in the UK... made me cry buckets, especially the end. I'm not sure if I can watch NOW without sobbing. The adventures of Hazel and his band across the fields, facing cars, cats, farmers and The General are a REAL MUST for kids aged 8 to 80, and the bittersweet ending is perfect. I'm tearing-up just remembering. THANK YOU again indexFroggy   |
