This CD contains two albums by the London group "The Parrish & Gurvitz Band": the album "Parrish & Gurvitz" released in 1971 and the album that remained unreleased until 2006 ... After the dissolution of the group "The Gun" Paul Hurwitz (also known as Paul Curtis ) together with Brian Parrish (also known as Brian Morris) form a guitar duo called "Parrish & Gurvitz". Prior to that, they played together in the bands "The Londoners", "The Knack". The duo released their debut album on the Regal Zonophone label under the direction of George Martin. The drummer was Mike Kellie from Spooky Tooth. They performed music in the style of psychedelic pop-rock, even rather folk-rock. This was followed by a tour of America, where keyboardist Mick Gallagher and bassist Rick Wills were added to this trio. In 1972, this line-up recorded the second album, where they performed heavy prog, and in some places just hard rock. George Martin helped them in recording the album, but then for some reason refused to release this album ... The group broke up. Brian Parrish created the Badger group, then recorded a solo album. Paul Gurvitz created the group "Three Man Army", then "The Baker Gurvitz Army", then "The Graeme Edge Band", became a producer ...
