Albums:
1970 - Otis Waygood Blues Band
The debut album from the band from Bulawayo (former Rhodesia, now Zimbabwe). They took over their name, apparently, from the British elevator company Waygood Otis Elevators Company. It is significant that their career began not just anywhere, but in Cape Town, where friends arrived in November 1969 for a creative weekend. There they were called to the so-called "Battle Of The Bands". And off we go: a well-known production company knocked together an album for the guys in two days, they began to travel all over South Africa, turning into real celebrities, then settled back to the north of Europe and, unambiguously renamed “Immigrant”, soon disappeared into oblivion. It was closer to the eighties.
