Formed around 1991, the band was founded by Iain Scott and David 'Chappy' Chapman (hence 'Sco' + 'Cha'), sharing guitars and vocals, who were later joined by Phil Clayton (bass guitar), then Alan Brydon (multiple instruments) and Dougie Anderson (drums).
