Elyot Chase (Toby Stephens) and Amanda Prynne (Anna Chancellor) are glamorous, rich and reckless divorcees. Five years later, whilst on their second honeymoons with their brand new spouses, their passionate love for one another is unexpectedly rekindled, when they take adjoining suites at a French hotel. They both fling themselves headlong once more, into a new and exciting whirlwind of lust/love, without any thought for their partners present or their past issues.

Summary
Private Lives is a 1930 comedy of manners in three acts by Noël Coward. It concerns a
divorced couple who, while honeymooning with their new spouses, discover that they are
staying in adjacent rooms at the same hotel. Despite a perpetually stormy relationship,

My notes
This play became available to me. It is a classic that has been in performance
since it was written. Toby Stephens was familiar to me from the premium television series
Black Sails and has since done Lost In Space. This is a departure from those dramatic
roles and here Stephens shows his excellent comic side. Anna Chancellor is a new name to
me but not to regular theatre goers in the home country. You can look up both of their
extensive careers and pedigrees in the theatre. Toby Stephens' mother is Maggie Smith.
I add this to my file shares for the superb performances from Stephens and Chancellor as
well as their partners in the play. I was won over by it and am grateful to the
anonymous upload on another service for the chance to download it. The NFO included gives
the source of the content. I have only changed the file format to MKV. Nothing else was
indicated.
